For its 60th anniversary, Clio Awards worked with BBDO Los Angeles to honor some of advertising’s iconic people and ideas from the past six decades by immortalizing them in a renaissance-style painting by Sam Spratt. The painting invites viewers to fall in love with advertising all over again, with a look at the most beloved characters that have shaped our popular culture — from the Kool-Aid Man to The Bud Knight and beyond. Viewers can also interact with the painting at by clicking on any character to learn more. The following are some highlights from the BBDO campaign, the award show, and details on my role in the overall campaign.

I designed the Clio 60 logo and additional creative that accompanied the BBDO campaign. These include interim landing pages prior to the completion of the microsite, digital invites, design concept of the award show program, and miscellaneous ads and graphics for digital, social media, and print — including a one-off NYC themed ad for LinkNYC.
